Why this instead of a structured carrier?
This is not an alternative to a structured carrier. They do different jobs. A structured carrier is bulky and takes much longer to put on and get your baby into. This sling lives in your purse, ready for the quick ups and downs.
Why this instead of a ring sling?
The ring sling takes more practice to learn. They usually also have a lot of fabric hanging down. This sling is quicker and easier.
Why this instead of a hip seat carrier?
Portability. Hip seat carriers are also designed for quick ups and downs, but they're bulky by construction: a plastic structure supports the seat, so they won't fit in your bag. This sling folds like a T-Shirt, small enough to live in your purse.
Why choose Copper Pearl over other toddler slings?
We're a brand, not an anonymous marketplace seller. We don't cut corners on the parts your child's safety depends on. The buckle that adjusts the fit is made by YKK, the best in the market - more expensive than a generic buckle. As far as we know, no other toddler sling uses them. Every production batch is also load-tested by an independent lab (SGS). For the seat, we avoid materials that tend to overheat, like nylon or polyester, to make the experience as comfortable as possible for you and your child. Also if it's not right for you, you have 60 days for a full refund.

Yes. The Everyday Sling was independently tested by Intertek to ASTM F2907-22, the U.S. safety standard for sling carriers, and passed the structural integrity, static load and dynamic load requirements.
Will it hurt my shoulder or neck?
We designed it specifically to avoid the neck-strap problem by adding padding on the shoulder. However, this carry-assist isn't meant for all day or a long carry. It's for quick errands like school drop-off, the supermarket, or getting through the airport.
What if it won't fit me?
You can adjust the strap once the first time to fit you perfectly and you are ready to go.
Does it get hot?
Our linen-cotton blend is very light and breathable. The cotton corduroy is heavier and warmer. Most other slings in the market are made of nylon; ours is not.
